day5 – white chili

So, today I thought I would do a little something different. I felt like sharing one of my most favorite recipes. White Chili. Sooooooo good!!! This is by no means the healthiest meal, but it is extremely delicious AND super easy! :)

All you need:
3 cans of great northern beans (rinsed and drained)
3 cups cubed cooked chicken breast (or we have also been using ground turkey)
1 jar (15 oz.) Alfredo sauce
2 cups chicken broth
2 cans (4 oz. each) chopped green chilies
1-1/2 cups frozen gold and white corn
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 sweet yellow pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced (I usually just use garlic powder)
1 Tbsp. ground cumin
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Just put it all in the crock-pot and keep it on the low setting for 3-4 hours. Or if you are like me and Philip and just get super impatient… on high for 2 hours.  :)
