We are currently in Dallas visiting my side of the family, and enjoying some delicious food. My parents were wanting a new family photo, so we cleaned up all of the wrapping paper yesterday morning, braved the cold, and put the tripod to some good use.
MERRY CHRISTMAS from the Ellis/Craddock family! :)
Roxanne and Justin did such a fantastic job planning their wedding. So much thought was put into every little detail, and I just couldn’t get enough.
The Patterson family was such a joy to work with! These kids were so much fun and had me laughing the entire time. I mean really… check out those expressions.
So, it has almost been a year since I officially started Coati Photography. Can you believe that? You may remember that I kick-started it all by doing a little thing I like to call 30 Photos in 30 Days. It was SO difficult and I will admit that I cheated a little bit here and there. This year, I would LOVE to invite anyone and everyone to join me in this challenge. It won’t start until January, so no worries… you have plenty of time to mentally prepare yourself. :)
Here are the rules:
- Starting on January 22, 2012 you will begin taking at least one picture every day for 30 days.
– You do NOT have to be a professional photographer to join.
– The picture can be of anything, but must be a new photo taken that very day.
– Photo sessions that are paid for by clients do NOT count. This is a challenge to push you. (Why not bless a family or two with some free photos?)
– You must post your photos somewhere for everyone to see… blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This is to take you out of your comfort zone and post things even if they aren’t completely perfect like you would like.
So who’s in? If you plan on joining the challenge, just leave a comment below on this blog post and leave a link to where you will be posting your photos.
I am absolutely in love with everything above! I have all of these on my wish list for Christmas this year. ModCloth has EVERYTHING… dresses, shoes, super cute office supplies, home decor, etc. There is TONS to choose from! All of this to say, that I am going to be giving away a $50 ModCloth gift card to one of you!!
How? All you have to do is the following…
1 – Like our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/coatiphotography
2 – Post the following comment on your status. (Don’t forget to make sure and tag us, so that your post shows up on our wall.)
“Mosey on over and like Coati Photography to win a ModCloth gift card!”
Contest ends Friday, December 2nd at 5pm. Winner will be announced that day at 5:30pm.
I am so excited about these photos that I just couldn’t wait to edit and post them. Jeremy proposed to Lydia last night at the French Legation Museum here in Austin and it was beyond precious. These two could not be more perfect for each other… it’s ridiculous.
The actual proposal was kept private, but Jeremy had contacted me a couple of weeks ago to see if we could do a mini-session immediately afterwards. I got their a little early to find Jeremy so excited and so nervous. He had planned everything out so well. I hid behind the beautiful plantation style home waiting for Lydia to arrive. I saw her walking down the long path, looking at Jeremy waiting for her in the distance. It was beautiful and I felt so honored to be part of their special day.
