30 Photos/30 Days {day 6}
Day 6:
Day Six is coming a little late, because we were out all day (and night). We went downtown pretty early yesterday to walk around before the Mute Math concert. We ended up having dinner at Moonshine and spending a little bit of time walking up and down 6th street. You would think that being downtown I would have had a million things to photograph, and there were, but I was so distracted that I forgot to really take any pictures. These were literally the only photos I took all day. So, needless to say… I didn’t have much to choose from. So, these are the photos you get.
PS… Mute Math is RIDICULOUS!!! In the best way possible. If you are in the Dallas area, they are playing there tonight. GO.
For the Family {austin family photographer}
So, this post is mostly for my family… but trust me, you will want to see these freakishly adorable kiddos!!!
My cousin, Jamie, called me yesterday to see if Philip and I would be available to hang out if she and her kids came to visit the next day… ummmm, YES PLEASE!!! I love when family comes to visit. Especially when they drive 3 whole hours just to see us!
I had the boys all day, so they were able to join in the fun. First we went to the park and I was able to take just a few quick pictures, then it was off to Chick-fil-a (of course), and then we went to the splash pad at the domain. So much fun!
If I hadn’t told you already… I LOVE when family comes to visit!!! (even if it is just for a few hours)
#1- The contest to win a FREE photo shoot with me (see last post) has been extended… so you should better enter right away!!
#2- What could be hotter than seeing your husband hanging out with super cute kiddos?? I mean… seriously. :)
Memorial Day Fun
We had SUCH a great weekend! We started our Memorial Day off right with a brunch with all of our fellow neighbors in St. Johns. It is such a blessing to have such an amazing community of friends.
After brunch we headed down south to Lost Creek with more of our wonderful friends, and had so much fun. Philip and Casey had been talking this place up and swore that it wouldn’t be crowded (even on Memorial Day)… and they were right!! We had the place all to ourselves and were able to enjoy fishing, swimming, rope swings, etc. It was so much fun! We will definitely be going back.
PS… Brady caught that fish with his bare hands. Seriously.
welcome to st. johns
So, as most of you know, we have spent the last week moving into our new place. We left the comfort of our downtown highrise to move into a tiny little place closer to our community of friends in St. Johns.
So far, we could NOT be happier! We absolutely love our new cozy 700 sq. foot home. There is still some work that needs to be done… mostly curtains (which I could use your advise on), and yard work.
As you can see, Baxter LOVES the new place… notice how he managed to jump into almost every picture. We all have our favorite pieces of our new addition… Baxter has a great big backyard, Philip has a GREAT place in the back to build his drums, and I have an amazing new office! What could be better?
