Kendall + Erin {austin anniversary photographer}
It’s no secret around here that anniversary sessions are my new favorite… and this one is most definitely no exception. Kendall and Erin are celebrating their one year anniversary by traveling back to their honeymoon destination. Count me as jealous. So, in going with that theme, why not go back to their wedding location for their anniversary photos? Kendall and Erin were married at Three Points Ranch, located just outside of Austin in Round Mountain, Texas. Although I am familiar with this venue, I had never been. Let me tell you, if I had our wedding to do all over again, this would be THE location. Beautiful.
Dustin & Meagan {austin wedding photographer}
I could go on and on about this wedding. Dustin and Meagan are probably on my top 3 of couples to work with. They know exactly what they want, but are so easy-going at the same time. So easy to work with! Not to mention, they are CRAZY about each other! Their wedding day was so absolutely perfect… just beautiful!

30 Photos/30 Days {day 9}
Day 9:
Today was a big day… the day that I have been looking forward to for months. The Branches & Light workshop. YES! So good! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it was. I am beyond inspired, and so ready to get back home to get to work. Caroline and Nancy did such a wonderful job. You can expect to hear so much more about this trip in the days/weeks to come. Get ready! :)
How cute are these personalized gifts that they gave us? So sweet!
30 Photos/30 Days {day4}
Day 4:
Today I was putting together wedding preparation packets for 2 new brides, and so I thought I would share. I think that I may have an obsession with packaging and personalizing things for others. I have always loved presentation. Birthdays, Christmas, baby showers… you name it. I’m pretty sure that I enjoy preparing the presentation of a gift more than the actual gift itself. It’s just too much fun. This definitely comes in handy when meeting with new brides. LOVE it!
30 Photos/30 Days {day 3}
Day 3:
Wedding shoes, wedding shoes… wedding shoes! LOVE them. LOVE taking photos of them. I think that a bride’s shoes are one of my most favorite things to shoot the day of a wedding. Shoes can say everything about a girl’s personality. LOVE them. :)
Roxanne & Justin Preview {austin wedding photographer}
Roxanne and Justin did such a fantastic job planning their wedding. So much thought was put into every little detail, and I just couldn’t get enough.
Jeremy & Lydia {austin engagement photographer}
I am so excited about these photos that I just couldn’t wait to edit and post them. Jeremy proposed to Lydia last night at the French Legation Museum here in Austin and it was beyond precious. These two could not be more perfect for each other… it’s ridiculous.
The actual proposal was kept private, but Jeremy had contacted me a couple of weeks ago to see if we could do a mini-session immediately afterwards. I got their a little early to find Jeremy so excited and so nervous. He had planned everything out so well. I hid behind the beautiful plantation style home waiting for Lydia to arrive. I saw her walking down the long path, looking at Jeremy waiting for her in the distance. It was beautiful and I felt so honored to be part of their special day.
Congrats guys!!
Michael & Emily {austin wedding photographer}
Where do I even start? I met Michael and Emily a few months back when we met up to talk about me possibly shooting their wedding. I knew right away that I would love working with them. They were so obviously in love, and I couldn’t help but notice how laid back they were about everything. Working with them was going to be a breeze… and it was.
The whole day was so laid back, and everyone was so at ease. Emily even assigned me a theme song, Paparazzi by Lady Gaga, which she proceeded to play while I stood on top of the bathroom toilet in order to get some good angles. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do… am I right?
LOVED this day!!
I also had some incredible help from my second shooter… Kelsi Williamson of Kwil Photography!
You’re In Luck {austin wedding photographer}
That’s right… I am beyond excited to announce that we are now available for weddings!
I tried my best to stay far away from shooting weddings… but let’s be honest, what girl can keep away from weddings? They are just too much fun! I will admit that I have been sucked in, and I’m pretty happy about it. REALLY happy about it!!
All of this to say, if you are getting married- you’re in luck! Our packages start at $2500… if you are interested and want more information, just send me a quick e-mail requesting our detailed (and beautiful) info packet.

Greg & Ansley {atlanta wedding photographer}
I can not even begin to tell you how excited I am to post these photos. Ansley and I grew up together in Atlanta, and I can remember the first time she told me about Greg. We were in high school and I can just remember her going on and on about this guy… this guy who ended up being her first kiss; and now her last. How adorable is that? I don’t think I could make up a sweeter story. Ansley is beautiful inside and out and I am just so blessed to call her my friend. Greg is one lucky guy, and from what I can tell… Ansley is a lucky girl. I loved getting to be a part of their special day!
Melissa & Nick {austin wedding photographer}
Jami called me up a few weeks ago and asked if I could help her shoot a wedding. I said yes, not knowing that it was going to be one of the most beautiful weddings I had ever witnessed. Not only are Melissa and Nick the sweetest couple ever, but the location was ridiculous! Who knew that a place like Villa Antonia existed only 30 minutes away from Austin? If you are planning a wedding and need a place, this is it. Ask for Shelly, she did such an incredible job with the wedding.
June Randomness {austin photographer}
I realize that I haven’t been blogging too much lately… that should be changing very soon.
We have a VERY exciting announcement to reveal to you lovely ladies and gents on Monday!!! That’s right – VERY EXCITING! So, get ready…
In the mean time, here is a random assortment of things that have happened so far this month. Family visiting, cute kiddos, weddings, fun photo shoots, etc. Enjoy.
Chris & Jenny Riley {austin wedding photographer}
WOW!! It has been WAY too long since I have blogged, but in my defense – my computer crashed a couple of weeks ago and I just got it back. YES!!!!
I have had many requests for weddings, but to be completely honest, I never had any intention on shooting weddings. BUT this past Saturday I filled in as the second shooter for a wedding over in Bastrop, TX. Being the second shooter was actually pretty awesome, because I was just there as the “back-up” basically. I couldn’t necessarily get shots that I would want to get if I was the primary photographer, but I did manage to get a few that I really liked. It was great practice, AND my first time shooting in all manual. Shooting in all manual was definitely a challenge… but a good one. I’m so glad that I did this, and I will probably be looking for more “second shooter” opportunities here in the next few months.
