30 Photos/30 Days {day 10}
Day 10:
WOW. Obviously I am behind on 30/30, but trust me… I have a good excuse. WE HAVE A BABY!!! I wanted to show you the photos that I took literally 5 minutes before I got the call on Tuesday. I was just waiting to board my flight back to Austin, making a long to-do list for when I arrived home. That all quickly changed with one phone call. We have a baby. I finally got home at 5:30 Tuesday night and by 9PM, we had a little baby in our home. The last 2 days have been amazing!
So, please excuse me if I get a little behind on this project. :)
30 Photos/30 Days {day 9}
Day 9:
Today was a big day… the day that I have been looking forward to for months. The Branches & Light workshop. YES! So good! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it was. I am beyond inspired, and so ready to get back home to get to work. Caroline and Nancy did such a wonderful job. You can expect to hear so much more about this trip in the days/weeks to come. Get ready! :)
How cute are these personalized gifts that they gave us? So sweet!
30 Photos/30 Days {day 8}
Day 8:
Meet my new roomies… Tiffany & Lindsay. We met for the first time today. They are fantastic! We are so excited to be attending Branches & Light tomorrow, and decided to get everything started by going downtown for a little mexican dinner. It reminded me a lot of the mexican food I used to eat in Atlanta… this was no tex-mex.
30 Photos/30 Days {day 7}
Day 7:
My bags are packed. Nails are painted. Batteries are charged. My camera is ready.
I am headed to North Carolina tomorrow for an amazing photography workshop… Branches & Light. I am so excited, and apologize ahead of time if my 30/30 photos aren’t posted till late at night for a few more days.
Today’s photo is of my Kelly Moore bags… I could NOT travel without them. They are absolutely the perfect go-to photography bag/purse for women, BUT they also have a mens line. They are my favorite. You can see them here: Kelly Moore Bags
30 Photos/30 Days {day 6}
Day 6:
Day Six is coming a little late, because we were out all day (and night). We went downtown pretty early yesterday to walk around before the Mute Math concert. We ended up having dinner at Moonshine and spending a little bit of time walking up and down 6th street. You would think that being downtown I would have had a million things to photograph, and there were, but I was so distracted that I forgot to really take any pictures. These were literally the only photos I took all day. So, needless to say… I didn’t have much to choose from. So, these are the photos you get.
PS… Mute Math is RIDICULOUS!!! In the best way possible. If you are in the Dallas area, they are playing there tonight. GO.
30 Photos/30 Days {day 5}
Day 5:
Today, I want to introduce you to my friend Whitney. Whitney is also a photographer, and even though she isn’t participating in 30/30 (shame, shame)… she is amazing. She just officially announced the launch of her new nonprofit, The Archibald Project. She is going to be traveling all around the world to document all kinds of adoption stories. I’m so excited about this, and hope that maybe I can tag along someday on one of her trips.

30 Photos/30 Days {day 2}
Day2:
I am posting this with 30 minutes to spare!! :) Tonight we had friends over to enjoy our new fire pit. What better way to enjoy a fire than with s’mores? YUM!
PS… This is my friend Jessica, who is also participating in 30/30. You can see her amazing work here: Jessica Christine Photography
30 Photos/30 Days {day 1}
And so it begins…
Day1:
People have been asking to see our nursery, and even though it isn’t complete, I decided that day 1 would be the perfect time to share. Almost everything in this room was given to us/made by friends and family. We could not be more blessed. I think it all came together rather nicely. If you haven’t been to our house, you must know that it is TINY. 700 square feet tiny. So, I am fairly surprised at how open and uncluttered it feels. I’m sure that once there is a baby living in there it won’t seem that way, but for now it does… and we LOVE it! How cute is that owl backpack/diaper bag that I just bought the other day? Can not wait to use it!
