Let the Countdown Begin…

School is almost out and Summer is just around the corner. We have had some crazy weather around here… hot, cold, rainy… we never know what to expect. We do however know that Austin Summers are out-of-this-world HOT, which is why now is the best time for photos. In the midst of our Countdown to Summer, I have decided to bless 1 very special person with a free session, plus 5 others with the chance to book a session for half-off… that’s right, HALF-OFF! Gosh, I just LOVE giveaways. (You will find instructions below on how to enter.)

You may be thinking to yourself, “We could really use some updated family photos, but I could probably just use our nice camera and it wouldn’t cost a dime.”
This is true, but I am here to tell you that unfortunately, they will not look the same. There are some very nice, smart, affordable cameras out there that do a great job, but you will not get the same end results. It is not always as simple as it looks. Read HERE to see what I’m talking about.

What an ADORABLE family!!! Despite the cold and rainy morning, this evening turned out to be beautiful. This sweet family was a blast. These kids could not have been more cooperative… can’t say that I have had any family that was easier to capture. I’ll say it again… ADORABLE!

The second that I received Adison’s Senior Rep Application, I knew right away that she was the absolute perfect fit. After meeting her and her sweet Mama this evening, she proved me right! Adison is the sweetest, funniest, coolest, most outgoing high schooler that I have ever met. She is involved in EVERYTHING! And be sure to keep her on your radar, because she wants to go into broadcasting… which I am most positively sure she will excel in!

Spring Mini-Sessions are in full swing and there are only a couple of spots left! So, if you are looking to get some new family photos in before Easter, now is a GREAT time. The Hekman’s may be the sweetest little family EVER! We had so much fun laughing and watching Violet enjoy the rocks and all of the dogs running through the creek. I had more than my fair share of photos to edit, because I just COULD NOT choose… every photo was just as precious as the one before.

Ever since becoming a mommy, I have a very special place in my heart for maternity and newborn sessions. There is nothing more precious than the sweet time you spend preparing for your first little one! I have a new love and respect for new moms and moms-to-be. It is such a special and unique time in your life, and I feel so honored to be able to capture it in photos.

Dannea and Steve are about to have a precious baby boy, and I couldn’t be more excited for them! There is something so wonderful about having a boy! LOVE IT!

We will be offering a limited number of 45 minute time slots between the dates of March 13th thru March 27th. We will be offering them at a discounted rate, which means they will fill up quickly, so we encourage you to book your session sooner than later. :)

There is absolutely nothing sweeter than a new mommy and her precious baby. My sister-in-law has always been beautiful, but there is just something about being a new mom that makes you drop dead gorgeous. Don’t you agree? New moms always have that sweet glow about them, and Sara is no exception. Sara was no doubt meant to be a mom. We got to spend this past weekend with them, and she just radiates happiness! Motherhood obviously suits her well. :)

Day 18 {family day}

Ok, I admit… I am a few days behind. Philip has been out of town, and although that is no excuse – it is a lot more difficult to get things done. BUT he is back, and today we had a much needed family day! We spent most of the day enjoying downtown and the Children’s Museum. LOVE my boys!
