After who knows how many months, it has finally happened… Austin has rain!!!

My dear friend, Jamie, asked if I could take some family pictures this weekend while her whole family was in town and of course I said yes. Who could really stay away from these precious kids?

Jamie sent me a text Saturday morning asking what we would do if it rained. Rain? No way. It hasn’t rained in MONTHS! Well, I quickly looked up weather.com and sure enough it said that it was going to start storming around 4:15.  It literally started pouring down at 4:14.  Those weathermen sure are accurate.

Anyway… I found an abandoned car lot close by that had plenty of covering, and it was PERFECT! Not to mention, I was able to finally pull out those super cute rainboots that never get to see the light of day.
